Health for Education: Medical Support Initiative

A student’s success depends on more than just books and classrooms—it requires a healthy foundation. At Apoyo Escolar, we recognize a medical emergency or a chronic condition can be the primary reason a young person is forced to leave school.

We watch for signs of health issues and follow up with the parents to see what is being done. Often we get involved in getting the student the attention he/she needs.

Some of our examples are Autism, Leukemia, Vision problems, hearing probl;ems, teeth and multiple quadriplegia.
